Pharmacovigilance Committee

Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Sri Vijaya Puram has been approved as an Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Monitoring Centre under National Pharmacovigilance Programme of India(Letter No. IPC/NCC-PvPl / AMC / 2015-16/14,dated 08/07/2015). The broad goal of the committee is to generate awareness about the need of identifying and reporting of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR), amongst all sections of health care providers (doctors, consultants, nurses, pharmacists and undergraduate students, etc.) of ANIIMS, Sri Vijaya Puram and to identify ADRs occurring inpatients admitted to medical college Hospital and report the same to the Central Assessment Committee, IPC, Ghaziabad.
